Preparers work under TMB Tax Bureau's EFIN with their own active PTIN and must complete AFSP certification and meet all compliance and due diligence standards under IRS Circular 230. AFSP is a voluntary IRS program administered through an accredited education provider; TMB Tax Bureau facilitates access but is not the provider of record for continuing education. Compensation splits are calculated on tax preparation fees after applicable back-office and bank fees, as detailed in the Preparer Independent Contractor Agreement. Earnings depend on volume, client fees, and individual performance; no specific earnings are guaranteed. Onboarding fees are non-refundable once certification access is issued.
